It was brought to our attention, within the last week, by Grand Valley State University that our Spring West Michigan Mom's Sale was scheduled for the same date as their Spring graduation, April 28th. Both Van Andel Arena and DeVos Place are operated by the same company, SMG. When we signed our contract with DeVos Place we were assured that there were no other events being held downtown at any SMG operated venues. Unfortunately, an Van Andel Arena neglected to put GVSU's graduation on even the internal calendar that the venues all use for scheduling. After much deliberation with all parties involved it was decided that parking and traffic downtown would be a major issue if both events were to take place downtown at the same time. We have voluntarily decided to move the West Michigan Mom's Sale and the GR8 Parenting Event to May 19th. We apologize for the inconvenience, however we feel that this is the best option that we have, given the circumstances. We want to make sure that all sellers and shoppers are able to enjoy their time at the West Michigan Mom's Sale  and not stress about parking or traffic. Again we apologize for any inconvenience this change might cause however we are looking forward to the warmer weather and sunshine that May will bring!
